THE FOUNTAIN CONGREGATIONAL VOTE

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29 2023 @ 11:30 AM

Pastoral Succession Plan:
Pastor Wayne Lomax, the Lead Pastor of The Fountain Church will retire, effective December 31, 2023. The succession plan is for The Fountain Church to embark on an exciting journey with COOL Church, led by Pastors Terrance and Johanne Wilson.  Church mergers have been an integral part of our history, demonstrating our willingness to adapt and grow while remaining rooted in our faith. We are confident that this is a step in the right direction, opening doors to new opportunities to unite, build, and grow.

Congregational Vote for Pastoral Successor:
According to the Bylaws* of The Fountain Church, the congregation is required to vote on the selection of our pastoral successor. This important vote will take place on Sunday, October 29, 2023, immediately following the morning service. Your active participation in this process is essential to ensure that the will of our congregation is faithfully considered and represented.

Congregational Question & Answer (Q&A) Meetings:
We understand that some members may no longer reside in the area or may be unable to attend in person. Rest assured; we are actively exploring options to facilitate remote participation for those unable to join us on campus. We will communicate these arrangements frequently and accurately to ensure everyone's engagement.  To prepare for the vote on October 29th, two meetings are scheduled for current updates and questions:  Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.  Leaders are asked to remain for a few minutes after the meeting to recap and to pray.
